OUR MISSION

THE CLIMATE REALITY PROJECT MISSION IS TO CATALYZE A GLOBAL SOLUTION TO THE CLIMATE CRISIS BY MAKING URGENT ACTION A NECESSITY ACROSS EVERY LEVEL OF SOCIETY.

The Bay Area Chapter has advanced The Climate Reality Project mission since 2015 at a regional and local level, catalyzing local solutions to the climate crisis in every corner of the Bay Area. We enable hundreds of trained climate leaders and the public to work together as a tight-knit team to spark urgent action and rapid adoption of solutions to the climate crisis.

GETTING INVOLVED

Our chapter offers a variety of ways to get involved with climate action, from teams to working groups and county squads

POLICY ACTION TEAMS

Bring chapter members together to influence policy changes to help mitigate climate change at the federal, state and local levels.

COMMUNITY ACTION TEAMS

Provide ways for chapter members to take community-focused climate action through Climate Justice, public climate presentations, business engagement, youth action, regional organizing and more.

CORE ENGAGEMENT TEAMS

Help to inform, engage and educate chapter and community members and run our chapter through teams focused on communications, events, membership engagement, finance and operations.
