CLIMATE REALITY BAY AREA CHAPTER
The Bay Area chapter focuses on promoting climate action and climate justice in the region, with specific focus on pushing local and state governments to adopt electrification and clean energy programs, advancing climate justice, and education around the realities and solutions to the climate crisis. Our teams engage in policy action, education, climate justice, youth action, and local climate action efforts.

Our vision is to see the Bay Area and California lead the nation and the world in adopting solutions for climate change and instilling climate justice to build a sustainable, resilient, healthy, safe and thriving future for all.

The Bay Area Chapter has advanced The Climate Reality Project’s mission since 2015 at a regional and local level, catalyzing local solutions to the climate crisis in every corner of the Bay Area. We enable hundreds of trained climate leaders and the public to work together as a tight-knit team to spark urgent action and rapid adoption of solutions to the climate crisis.
We come from all age groups and all professions – teachers, students, doctors, business professionals, non-profit leaders, artists, authors, and even scientists – with a common purpose: to solve the climate crisis. We welcome everyone who wants to fight for a better planet.
